Anna Caplan

Anna Caplan holds a BA in comparative literature from Harvard College. She is the editor in
chief of Honeycake magazine, a new Jewish literary magazine for young children. Founded on
the principle that Jewish kids need great Jewish stories, Honeycake ’s mission is to serve Jewish
children and families, publishing content that promotes Jewish literacy and sparks a love of
Jewish learning. Before creating Honeycake , Anna worked as a Jewish educator for ten years,
specializing in early childhood Jewish music education. She has taught and performed in dozens
of synagogues, preschools, JCC’s, and libraries. Anna has two children, ages one and four; she
and her family are excited to move to Wynnewood, Pennsylvania this June.
