Aliza Orent
Aliza Orent is the Manager of Programming at the Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR). She holds a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MSW from the University of Michigan. She is a past fellow of the Melton Centre for Jewish Education at the Hebrew University. She lived in Israel for seven years and has a passion for connecting the diaspora LGBTQ community to Israel. She has led LGBTQ adult trips to Israel and is a Birthright Israel Fellow. Aliza and her wife recently moved to NYC from Austin. She is the founder of Keshet Austin, Austin’s Jewish LGBTQ Group.
